  15. HI TO ALL ALT.FOLKLORE.GHOST-STORIES this is my first time to post anything
  16. and before I start I would like to say I enjoy this group alot.  I have many 
  17. stories of my own and thought I would tell one since this is what the new 
  18. group is all about so here it is.

  21. When I was growing up we moved from the big city to a very small town (New 
  22. York City to a small town in Maine.)  Anyway, we moved into a house which 
  23. was old and big.  The first week we were there we heard a radio with old 
  24. fashion music.  My mom thought it to be from the T.V. so we ignored it.  As 
  25. weeks turned into months we started to get really annoyed so one day we 
  26. thought we'd turn off the TV (Mind you, we turned down the t.v. and even 
  27. had someone look at it to make sure it wasn't us being crazy). Anyway this 
  28. person told us to turn it off without announcing it (quickly do it) because 
  29. every time we said we were going to bed or something and turn it off the 
  30. music would stop.

  33. So my mom did just that and we still heard the music, but as soon as what-
  34. ever figured out the t.v. was off it stopped.  This continued for awhile but 
  35. to our amazement the radio sound would continue after the t.v. was off.  
  36. Like, the ghost knew  we knew.

  38.  
  39. This is when things got really weird.  One day after turning off the t.v. 
  40. the music continued and my mom wanted to find out where it was coming from. 
  41. We listened and followed it up to the upstairs attic... it was coming from a 
  42. radio up there that came with the house.

  45. The radio was completely gutted out but still music came out of it.  
  46.

  48. (Please don't think I'm NUTS.  This really happened)  We lived in the house 
  49. for 6 years; so many things happened.  My mom and I feel it was attracted to 
  50. me more because most things happened to me.  After the radio thing we star-
  51. ted to hear footsteps and finally we saw it.  It was me who saw it first and 
  52. then, later on, my mom.

  55. It was the middle of the night when I saw it and it pinched me (I know what 
  56. you are thinking, but it did).  We found out later that I was in the room 
  57. that she slept in and later I found out that the bed I slept in was hers... 
  58. it also came with the house.  I know that it was a her because we looked 
  59. into the history of the house.

  62. An old lady owned the house and died when she was in her 80's. Her son moved 
  63. her out of the house before she died and put her an apartment across the way 
  64. because she was going senile.  In those days they would hide the loved ones 
  65. from people for futher embarrasment.  So she came back to haunt it.

  68. Like I said earlier we lived there for 6 years so I have many things to tell 
  69. you and now that I am a grown up I have my own home and it is also has it 
  70. weird going ons.

  73. This is getting to be long and I promise if you would like to know more 
  74. about some of my stories I promise to shorten it up and to get right to the 
  75. point.  So let me know what you think.

  78. Oh by the way if there are any other people who have had their house blessed 
  79. because they thought it was haunted and the weird thing continue I would 
  80. really like to know about it and what can I do to maybe stop it from hap-
  81. pening.
